WORKSHOPS are essential to GEIA's productivity and growth. International workshops on global emissions inventories have been held approximately once each year since GEIA was organized. The workshops have usually been organized in conjunction with major, related international meetings. All scientists involved with either emission inventory preparation or using emission inventories are encouraged to attend these meetings. Links to most recent meeting presentations are noted below.
Here are links to earlier workshops.
REPORTS: We also are providing links to major reports on emissions and exchange processes that are becoming available. Please check out these New Reports.

Conference presentations and results, plus new GEIA Priorities for 2007, have been posted.
The JOINT ACCENT/GEIA Workshop - February 8-10, 2006 discussed anthropogenic emissions for non-OECD countries in global inventories.
GEIA Portal was discussed at the ACCENT Symposium September 12th - 16th 2005 in Urbino, Italy http://www.accent-network.org/symposium/
Workshop addressed satellites used to derive burnt biomass emissions. Report available here.
This meeting addressed the form that the next generation of earth system models will take, with particular application for the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report. Participants at the meeting represented the scientific communities that are going beyond the traditional global coupled model components of atmosphere, ocean, land surface and sea ice, and including carbon cycle, dynamical vegetation, aerosols, and chemistry. Assessment Report from the workshop will be published. Report is available at http://www.agci.org/meetings.html.
