Emission distribution of CCl2F2 (CFC-12) based on McCulloch,A. P. Midgley, and D. Fisher, Distribution of emissions of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) 11, 12, 113, 114 , and 115 among reporting and non-reporting countries in 1986, Atmos. Environment., 28,2567-2582,1994. Within countries the emissions have been distributed according to population figures compiled by Jennifer Logan (Harvard University). The figures are given as percentages of the total emission at each grid point. D. Fisher estimates the global emission for 1986 was 437.4 million kg. (see NASA RP 1339, January, 1994) The ALE/GAGE estimate of global emissions for 1986 is 483 (uncertainty 27) million kg. (Cunnold et al., J. Geophys. Res. 99, 1107-1126, 1994).
